Privacy Policy

Lex & Light Co. ("I," "me") is a photography and content creation business run by Alexis Juska in St. Augustine, Florida. This policy explains what information I collect through lexandlightco.com, how I use it, and your choices.

What I collect

  • When you fill out my contact form: your first and last name, phone number, email address, Instagram handle (optional), the service you're interested in, your message, and where your session is located.
  • When you book: the details you share in your booking, contract, and questionnaire, such as session date, locations, and ideas for your photos.
  • Payments: if you pay online, payment is processed by my booking platform. I never see or store your full card number. If you pay by Zelle, Venmo, or cash, I keep a record of the payment.
  • Automatically: my website uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to collect information like pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, and general location (city or region).

How I use it

  • To reply to your inquiry and plan your session
  • To send quotes, contracts, invoices, reminders, and your final gallery
  • To understand how people use my website so I can improve it

I do not sell your personal information. I don't add you to a marketing email list unless you choose to join.

Who helps me run my business

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores. My site uses them for analytics and so the site works properly. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

How long I keep it

I keep client records for as long as needed to provide my services and for my business and tax records.

Your photos

How your session photos may be shared is covered in your contract and my Booking Terms below.

Children

My website is not directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information online.

Your choices

You can ask me to see, correct, or delete the personal information I have about you by emailing alexis@lexandlightco.com.

Changes

If I update these policies, I'll change the date at the top of this page.


Booking Terms

These are the policies for every Lex & Light Co. session. Your signed contract has the final details for your booking.

Booking and payment

  • A signed contract, a questionnaire, and a non-refundable deposit lock in your date. The deposit goes toward your total.
  • The remaining balance is due by the start of your session.
  • You can pay online through my booking system, or by cash, Zelle, or Venmo.

Cancelling or rescheduling

  • Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
  • Your deposit is non-refundable. If you reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice, your deposit moves to your new date, based on my availability.

Weather

Florida weather can be unpredictable. If the forecast looks gloomy, I'll reach out at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule for a better day, at no extra cost.

Arriving late

I offer a 15-minute grace period at the start of your session. After 20 minutes with no arrival, the session is considered a no-show and is cancelled without a refund.

Locations and travel

  • Locations must be open and operational during your session time.
  • I travel within a 30-mile radius of St. Augustine, Florida. Farther locations, like Lakeland, include a travel fee added to your total.
  • I don't travel out of state for photography at this time.
  • If you choose to ride with me between locations, I'm not liable for injuries or accidents outside my control.

Guests and groups

Family, friends, and pets are welcome to join for a few photos. For sessions with three or more people being photographed, I recommend moving up one package tier.

Your gallery

  • Your final gallery is typically ready within 1 to 2 weeks of your session. I'll let you know if it will take longer.
  • You'll receive fully edited, high-resolution images to download, share, and print.
  • I don't provide RAW (unedited) files. My final edited images are the truest reflection of my work and brand.

Image use

  • I keep the copyright to all images. You receive a personal-use license to print your photos and share them on your personal social media, with credit to me where you can. Using them to promote a business needs my written OK first.
  • I may share images from your session in my portfolio, on my website, and on social media.
